COLUMBUS, Ind. — Flood watches and warnings remain in effect for the region until 7 p.m. Monday. The watch includes Bartholomew, Brown, Decatur, Jackson, Johnson, Jennings and Shelby counties.
The following roads in Bartholomew County are closed due to high water:
- Mill Race Park entrances
- E 400 N, Tinkey Bridge – Closed between US31 and River Rd
- E 800 S, between Jonesville Rd and US31
Flooding in Columbus has closed portions of the People Trail system, Mill Race Park and Noblitt Park. The impacted areas will reopen after the water has receded and crews clean any mud and debris.
The following roads are closed in Johnson County due to flooding:
- Greensburg Rd & County Road 725E
- C.R. 250S east of I-65
- 725 E North of 270 725 E
- 250 S East of US 31
- Mauxferry & 350 S
- Jim Black North of 44
- Stoneybrook Ln & 250 S
- 350 S West of 31
- 400 S & 700 E
Local EMA officials are monitoring river levels including the Driftwood River near Edinburgh. Flooding concerns have been listed as moderate.
