GREENWOOD – Nobody was seriously injured when a White River Township fire truck crashed Saturday, authorities said. The single-vehicle accident occurred around 2:15 p.m. on County Road 800N.
Firefighters told police that a vehicle traveling in the opposite direction was near the center of the roadway forcing the fire engine to avoid the collision. The firetruck was hauling a trailer that left the road and caused the firetruck to go into the ditch.
