GREENWOOD, Ind. — Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a man who robbed the Greenwood Discount Tobacco at 713 Fry Road Dec. 29.
Investigators say the man entered the store around 6 p.m. and pointed a revolver at the clerk demanding money. The suspect ran south from the store with an undetermined amount of cash.
The man is described as a tall, skinny, white male in his mid-20s.
He was seen wearing a black hooded jacket and dark-colored pants. The suspect had his lower face hidden, but witnesses were able to tell that the suspect had short, light-colored hair, a light-colored mustache and thin rimmed glasses.
The Greenwood Police Department released surveillance photos Wednesday hoping the public can identify the culprit.
