COLUMBUS, Ind. — A Columbus woman was arrested on multiple charges after she stole knives from a store Tuesday, authorities said.
Lindsey Smith, 27, was arrested on suspicion of theft, identity deception and possession of methamphetamine.
Officers spoke with Smith in the parking lot of the store in the 2300 block of Merchants Mile where she allegedly provided the identification of a woman who was a victim of identity theft.
Police searched her purse and say they found four knives that were taken from the store and a small amount of meth.
Smith is held on $250,000 bond at the Bartholomew County Jail.
