Greenwood police are identifying the suspect involved in a five hour SWAT standoff Monday night.
Police arrived around 5 p.m. to the home in the 400 block of Robbins Drive and the suspect was taken into custody around 10 p.m.
Thomas Coffman, 68, verbally threatened to kill officers at the scene and was arrested by police using non-lethal force, GPD assistant chief Matthew Fillenwarth said.
Coffman was taken to a hospital for evaluations and preliminary charges have not yet been filed.

GREENWOOD, Ind. — A police standoff in Greenwood ended without incident Monday night.
SWAT team officers were dispatched to a home in the 400 block of Robbins Drive and remained on the scene for more than five hours.
A man inside the home reportedly fired a gun in the air several times earlier in the day. He was taken into custody around 10 p.m.
