FRANKLIN, Ind. — The newly-formed Johnson County Convention, Visitor and Tourism Board met for the first time Tuesday.
Michael Neal was elected president of the tourism board. Neal serves as the director of community affairs at the Office of Indiana Gov. Mike Pence.
“I encourage any member of the communities in Johnson County to speak with us and give their ideas and feedback,” Neal said.
The tourism board meets once per month and is funded by the newly established innkeeper tax in Johnson County.
