MORGAN COUNTY, Ind. — Federal and local authorities may have a lead in the 2011 disappearance of Lauren Spierer.
The FBI and Bloomington Police confirmed that a search in Morgan County Thursday was tied to an active investigation into the missing IU student.
Agents raided a property in the 2900 block of Old Morgantown Road and spent hours on scene digging for evidence and using cadaver dogs. A white truck was seen being towed away.
A previous resident of the home, Justin Wagers, has been in the Johnson County Jail following his arrest in August for indecent exposure.
Johnson County Sheriff Doug Cox confirmed the 35-year-old has been in his jail, however, the department had no involvement in the current activity in Morgan County.

MARTINSVILLE, Ind. — FBI agents are involved in an investigation in Martinsville Thursday.
Authorities are on the scene around the 2900 block of Old Morgantown Road.
