MORGAN COUNTY, Ind. — Federal and local authorities may have a lead in the 2011 disappearance of Lauren Spierer.
The FBI and Bloomington Police confirmed that a search Thursday in Morgan County was tied to an active investigation into the missing Indiana University student.
Agents raided a property in the 2900 block of Old Morgantown Road and spent hours on scene digging for evidence and using cadaver dogs.
A previous resident of the home, Justin Wagers, has been in the Johnson County Jail following his arrest in August for indecent exposure.
