ALL COUNTIES, Ind.—It’s that time of year again to file your taxes and there is free tax preparation and assistance available. In order to find a free tax prep site near you, you can call 2-1-1 or search online. Most sites do require a scheduled appointment and a few offer walk-in services.
If you are good with a computer and don’t need help in person, you can file your taxes for free through www.myfreetaxes.com and certain libraries and community centers may allow use of their computers to file and print your return. The deadline to file your taxes is April 18.
