COLUMBUS, Ind. — A Columbus man is facing a list of charges following a police chase Wednesday afternoon.
An officer attempted to pull over Thomas E. Childers, 32, on State Street around 4:30 p.m.
Childers refused to pull over and led officers on a pursuit before crashing into a parked car in the 400 block of Pence Street, police said.
Police say Childers fled into a nearby home and was taken into custody after a struggle with officers.
A search of the home resulted in two grams of heroin, 15 hypodermic needles, marijuana, drug paraphernalia and a stolen computer, police said.
