UPDATE (3:50PM) The suspect in a double homicide in Zionsville has taken his own life, police said.
Lucius Hamilton, 61, died in an Indianapolis hotel while barricaded by police.
Hamilton was being sought after Katherine Janet Giehll, 31, and her son, Raymond Peter Giehll IV, 4, were found dead in rural Zionsville.
The manhunt led Wabash College to cancel classes Tuesday. Hamilton was employed with the school.

CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind. —Wabash College has cancelled classes Tuesday afternoon and students are asked to stay indoors.
The school lockdown is connected to the search for Lucius Hamilton, 61, a suspect in a double homicide in Zionsville.
Hamilton is employed at Wabash College, police said.
He was last seen driving a white Dodge van with Indiana license plate “WA25.”
