FRANKLIN, Ind. — The Johnson County Garden Club and Purdue Master Gardeners will host their annual Garden Celebration May 7.
Approximately 800-1,000 visitors attend this yearly event at Scott Hall, 250 Fairground St., Johnson County Fairgrounds, Franklin.
The theme for 2016 emphasizes Saving the Monarchs and will feature guest speakers who will explain planting strategies to attract butterflies.
The event will feature an expert on monarch butterfly habitat, and an author will discuss methods of identification.
Approximately 40 plant and garden-related vendors will be featured during the Garden Celebration.
