MADISON, Ind. — A Seymour woman is facing felony theft charges after police say she stole from a nonprofit gymnastics organization in Madison.
Amanda Warner, 34, was arrested Monday after a four-month investigation was launched into missing funds at the Madison Gymnastics and Cheer Corporation.
Indiana State Police detectives say Warner, who served as treasurer, transferred $2,200 from the corporation’s accounts without authorization.
Warner also spent an additional $1,000 of the corporation’s money to enter her children into gymnastics competitions, police said.
