COLUMBUS, Ind. — A Freetown man was arrested in Columbus on suspicion of driving a stolen truck.
Columbus officers conducted a traffic stop near Columbus Regional Health around 7:30 p.m.
Phillip C. Pace, 50, was ordered out of the vehicle after he began reaching under his seat, police said. Officers allegedly located drug paraphernalia under the seat.
The 1988 Chevy S-10 was reported stolen out of Decatur County.
Pace was booked into the Bartholomew County Jail on suspicion of auto theft, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving while suspended.
