AUSTIN, Ind. — A Scott County teacher was arrested for drug possession while on the job, according to Indiana State Police.
Troopers raided a Scott County home and arrested two men on drug-related charges.
As the investigation was completed at the home, officers learned another occupant of the residence was at work and possibly in possession of a controlled substance.
Police went to Scott County School District 1 in Austin and arrested Laura Nowling, 47, who is an elementary teacher. Nowling was in possession of methamphetamine and paraphernalia, troopers said.
School officials cooperated with the investigation.
