COLUMBUS, Ind. — Ivy Tech’s student honor society will host its Indiana Region Spring Conference in Columbus next week.
Approximately 100 Phi Theta Kappa members from around the state will participate in the conference March 4-5.
The statewide event features the largest and oldest honor society for community colleges in the world with three-million members worldwide.
Students will listen to presentations, participate in workshops, elect regional officers and take part in projects with Big Brothers/Big Sisters and Youth Camp.
Columbus Mayor Jim Lienhoop and Ivy Tech Community College Chancellor Chris Lowry will speak at the event.
