COLUMBUS, Ind. — A Columbus man is facing drunken-driving charges after his vehicle struck a crosswalk signal near Columbus City Hall early Sunday morning.
Around 4:15 a.m., police said a Jeep ran over the crosswalk signal at the southeast corner of 2nd and Washington streets.
The driver, Adam L. Goode, 29, was inside the vehicle when officers arrived. Police said they suspected Goode had been consuming alcohol.
Goode failed several field sobriety tests and registered a blood-alcohol content of .246 percent, over three times the legal limit, according to police.
