FRANKLIN, Ind. — A Columbus man who led police on a high-speed chase in Johnson County in October has been found guilty.
Ricky Dean Miller II, 25, left an alleged theft from the Greenwood Kroger when a deputy attempted to stop him.
Prosecutors say Miller drove down Morgantown Road at speeds reaching 130 mph and passed through the area of Center Grove High School.
Miller eventually lost control of the vehicle and crashed at State Road 37 and Smith Valley Road.
After a two-day trial, Miller was convicted of felony resisting law enforcement and misdemeanor offenses of reckless driving and driving while suspended.
Sentencing is scheduled for March 21 where Miller faces up to two and a half years.
