GREENSBURG, Ind. — A 20-year-old Greensburg woman was struck and killed by a vehicle in Greensburg Monday night.
Indiana State Police say Rosemary Schroeder, 94, of Greensburg, was driving on Moscow Road approaching Veterans Way.
Dorothy L. Whitmore was running westbound when she entered the intersection and into the path of Schroeder’s car.
Whitmore died after being flown to an Indianapolis hospital for head injuries.
Schroeder cooperated with investigators. Drugs and alcohol are not believed to be a factor in the crash. The investigation is ongoing.
