GREENWOOD, Ind. — A man is accused of firing a gun during an altercation at the Greenwood VFW Wednesday night.
Kyle Lengerich, 28, of Greenwood, was arrested and charged with criminal recklessness.
Officers responded to 333 Washington St. to a report of shots fired. Witnesses say Lengerich was in an altercation when he pointed the gun at the ceiling and fired a shot.
“I just believe alcohol was involved,” said Greenwood Police Assistant Chief Matthew Fillenwarth. Nobody was hurt in the incident.
