INDIANAPOLIS — Indiana Gov. Mike Pence has declared May 1-7 as Indiana Drinking Water Week.
In a statewide proclamation Pence said, “Water is our most valuable natural resource. Any measure of a successful society – low mortality rates, economic growth and diversity, productivity and public safety – are in some way related to access to safe water.”
Throughout the week, water community partners will celebrate Drinking Water Week by recognizing the vital role water plays in daily lives and how water contributes to overall quality of life.
