INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — The Indiana Republican Party is expected to select a candidate for governor sometime today. The 22-member Indiana State Republican Committee will meet in private to choose from Congresswoman Susan Brooks, Congressman Todd Rokita, State Senator Jim Tomes and Lt. Gov. Eric Holcomb.
The selection process is expected to take 2-3 hours. A press conference that will include party chairman Jeff Cardwell and the new candidate is scheduled after the meeting is concluded.
Governor Mike Pence has endorsed Eric Holcomb.
