FRANKLIN, Ind. — A single vehicle accident in Johnson County Saturday evening around 9 p.m. was reportedly caused by distracted driving.
Johnson County Sheriff Doug Cox says Ashley Marvel, 28, of Greenwood, was using the GPS feature on her cell phone when she drove off the road striking two trees. Marvel was treated at the scene for minor injuries. Marvel was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
