NORTH VERNON, Ind. — The North Vernon Police Department raided a residence at Country Squire Lakes Tuesday and made five drug-related arrests.
Police served the search warrant in the 2000 block of Country Manor Blvd. at 9:30 a.m. and secured the occupants of the residence. Inside, police found two grams of heroin, one gram of methamphetamine, digital scales, packaging materials and syringes. Police arrested Charles Williams, 35, for dealing in narcotics, possession of drugs and paraphernalia; Robert Anderson, 29, for dealing in narcotics, possession of drugs and paraphernalia; Raven Grider, 23, for dealing in narcotics, possession of drugs and paraphernalia; Mattie Kendell, 25, for possession of drugs and paraphernalia and Clearance Howard, 25, for possession of drugs and paraphernalia.
