WALESBORO, Ind. — A Seymour man was arrested Thursday morning after a pursuit through two southern Indiana counties.
The Indiana State Police were investigating a report of a two-car crash on northbound Interstate 65 in Jackson County, when one vehicle left the scene. The car exited onto State Road 11 and traveled north into Bartholomew County. Troopers attempted to stop Joel Hankins, 30, on State Road 11 near County Road 450S. But, Hankins fled west on Southern Crossing, and then south on State Road 58 back into Jackson County. After 30 minutes, the chase ended at County Road 400W and County Road 900N when troopers were finally able to stop the vehicle.
