
SEYMOUR, Ind. — A traffic stop in Seymour by the Indiana State Police yielded heroin, paraphernalia and two arrests Wednesday.
During the 1 p.m. traffic stop on southbound Interstate 65 in Jackson County, police observed criminal indicators and called for a canine unit. The canine made a positive signal for drugs in the car. During an initial search, officers discovered a syringe and other paraphernalia. Troopers arrested the driver, Clinton Johnson, 26, and the passenger, Sara Biggs, 24, both of Seymour. They were transported to the Jackson County Jail. During a jail search officers found two bags of heroin in the possession of Biggs. While at the jail police also learned Johnson had provided a fake identity.
Biggs has been charged with felony possession of heroin, and possession of paraphernalia. Johnson has been charged with false informing, identity theft, and driving while suspended. Both remain incarcerated.
