CROTHERSVILLE, Ind. — An Indiana State trooper was injured in car crash on northbound Interstate 65 near Crothersville, on Friday around 9 p.m.
With his emergency lights activated, Trooper Michael Thiron was responding to an accident when he was struck from behind by a semi driven by Patrick Gregory, 30, of Indianapolis. The impact caused Thiron’s cruiser to spin into the cable barrier in the center median.
The trooper was treated for possible head injuries at Schneck Medical Center and released. Gregory was not injured. Thiron is a one-year veteran of the Indiana State Police.
