COLUMBUS, Ind. — The Shelby County Sheriff’s Department has determined the remains found there on August 1 are those of Nicole Olmstead, 33, of Columbus. Olmstead was last seen in downtown Columbus on July 1. Family members reported Olmstead missing on July 12.
Detectives from the Columbus Police Department and Shelby County Sheriff’s Department are working to solve the case. Anyone with information is asked to call 812-376-2661 or 317-392-6412. All leads are confidential.
