FRANKLIN, Ind. — The Johnson County Development Corporation will be in Japan from September 24-30. Meetings with the country’s largest employers are planned. The trip will be focused on enriching relationships with Japanese companies that have made investments in Johnson County. Johnson County has developed a 25-year relationship with 14 companies from the “Land of the Rising Sun” that employ about 1,900 people.
The delegation of the CEO of JCDC, Cheryl Morphew; Greenwood Mayor Matt Myers; Executive Director of Quality Connection, Julie Saltsgaver; JCDC chairman, Pat Sherman and JCDC board member, Chris King will meet with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, KYB and Nachi.
