COLUMBUS, Ind. — Columbus police detectives are interviewing two persons of interest in connection with damage done to a downtown property by a pellet gun. Lt. Matt Harris says a combination of tips and traditional police work led to the possible suspects.
Earlier this week, the window of a building on Third Street and the glass of at least one ColumBus Transit enclosure were damaged by pellet gun fire. Depending on the extent of the damage, Harris says the charges could be elevated to felonies. The investigation is ongoing.
