FRANKLIN, Ind. — Franklin residents will welcome the reopening of East Jefferson Street Wednesday, November 23. All restrictions will be lifted by the close of the workday.
The contractor will continue to work on sidewalks, handicapped curb ramps and traffic signals after the road is opened. The work from U.S. 31 to the railroad tracks is expected to be complete in the fall of 2017.
The opening is just in time for “Small Business Saturday” in downtown Franklin this Saturday.
