COLUMBUS, Ind. — The Columbus East Olympians were denied their first ever Class 5A championship by the Westfield Shamrocks 16-13 on Saturday evening. Shamrock kicker Will Harrison made three field goals and Nate Froelich ended a nine-play, 68-yard-drive in the third quarter with what turned out to be a game-winning touchdown. For the Olympians, Jamon Hogan had 145 yards rushing. Columbus East finishes the season with a 13-2 record.
