COLUMBUS, Ind. — Final preparations are underway for Thomasson, Thomasson, Long & Guthrie’s QMIX Christmas Musical Fireworks, sponsored by Columbus Regional Health, Summers Plumbing, Heating and Cooling, and the Columbus Downtown Merchants “Not So Silent Night.”
Saturday, December 3, families and friends are welcome to a wonderful afternoon and evening of fun in downtown Columbus. It starts with a free magic show featuring Travis Easterling, at 4 p.m. at the Commons. ‘The Festival of Lights Parade” steps off at 6 p.m. and includes around one hundred entries. Immediately following the parade, the Columbus sky will be painted with fireworks set to a synchronized soundtrack of holiday favorites. Expect beautiful views up and down Washington Street and around city hall. After the show, families can enjoy free pictures with Santa and hot chocolate provided by Thomasson, Thomasson, Long & Guthrie in the QMIX tent at Second and Washington Streets.
Thomasson, Thomasson, Long and Guthrie’s QMIX Christmas Musical Fireworks is a free event for the community on the first Saturday of December each year.
