COLUMBUS, Ind. — Ivy Tech Community College has announced that 17 students have been recognized by the Alpha Rho Tau chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society. From Columbus, the honor goes to Bailey Branstetter, Leighton Cameron, Hannah Gregory, Emily Joyce, Angie Kramer, Elizabeth Vance and Lee-Anna Watson. North Vernon’s recipients include Edrel Garcia, Ocklawaha Holt and Henry Schultz. From Nashville, Deanna Mansenberger and Krista Marshall are recognized. Seymour honorees are Mika Monsier. Jeffery Tirrell and Taylor Harris are the recipients from Bloomington. Elizabeth Goff of Bargersville, Carrie Weisenbach of Greensburg, Cynthia Camic of Greenwood, and Hobert Hurley of Shelbyville were also honored.
The honor society is for two-year colleges that recognize academic achievement and provides an opportunity for growth and development through participation in honors, leadership, service and fellowship.
