COLUMBUS, Ind. — Columbus police say one person has died as a result of an accidental shooting Monday.
Shortly after 10 a.m., police responded to the 300 block of Cleveland Street and found Michael Sporleder, 69, deceased on the living room floor. Family members told police Sporleder was cleaning a 9mm handgun when it discharged and struck him.
