COLUMBUS, Ind. — Material delays will extend the completion of Phase I of the State Street Revitalization project into early 2017. The phase was originally scheduled to be completed by December 16.
Until Phase I is completed, McKinley Avenue and State Street will remain closed and the eastbound lanes will continue to be restricted.
The $2.1 million Phase I project includes a 10-foot wide sidewalk added to the north side of the bridge, pedestrian protection barriers, and new lighting.
