In Columbus, a school bus rear ended another vehicle at 25th Street and U.S. 31 while trying trying to stop for a fire truck passing through the intersection. The accident happened around 11 a.m., and there were no students on the bus and no injuries reported.
Private contractors had to rush to outfit equipment to handle the snow fall. Business owners, schools and apartment communities scrambled to make walking surfaces safe.
