FRANKLIN, Ind. — A Franklin home was destroyed by fire Wednesday morning and now investigators believe there may have also been a burglary. Family members told Johnson County Sheriff’s deputies a car was missing from the scene.
The fire call came around 4:45 a.m. and when fire fighters arrived the home in the 2000 block of Graham Road, the house was fully engulfed. Firefighters began a defensive attack because of extent of the fire. Due to extreme cold conditions, Whiteland, New Whiteland and Bargersville provided mutual support.
Johnson County Sheriff Doug Cox says always lock doors, use security lights, and watch out for your neighbors.
The home was a total loss and there were no injuries.
