FRANKLIN, Ind. — The Johnson County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a rash of car break-ins in White River Township.
On Wednesday, between 10 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., thieves took jewelry, cash, electronics and personal belongings from three cars. One victim caught the suspect in the act and gave chase. The suspect’s vehicle was described as an older SUV, possibly an Isuzu Rodeo.
Johnson County Sheriff Doug Cox says keep doors locked, windows up, keep valuables out open view, and park in a well-lit area at shopping centers. Information about any crime can be left by calling 317-346-4654.
