NINEVEH, Ind. — The children at the center of an Amber Alert have been found safe in Brown County, but police continue to search for the father. Police say John Rader, 40, lured the children into his vehicle early Monday evening and drove off. Rader is reportedly in the middle of a custody battle over the kids.
Rader took the children to a friend in Brown County and fled. The friend subsequently delivered the children to their grandparents. Police used a phone signal to track the exchange.
Rader was last seen in Columbus driving a white, 2007 Ford 500. The vehicle has tinted windows with breast cancer stickers, and the license plate is 727MIO.
