COLUMBUS, Ind. — The Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Department and the Indiana State Police are investigating a home invasion that occurred on Wednesday.
The homeowner told police two masked men entered his home on County Road 675 West during the day. The homeowner confronted the suspects with gunfire and they fled the scene. Police say the pair fled in an older model silver or blue Cadillac. It is not known if the suspects were hit by the gunfire.
