AZALIA, Ind. — A domestic incident Wednesday evening resulted in a serious injury and the arrest of one person in the Azalia area.
Reports from the Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Department indicate the disturbance started around 8:15 p.m. with two people arguing in the 300 block of East Boat Street. The two reportedly left the original scene in a truck, and the disturbance finally ended in the 6800 block of County Road 800S, where the truck hit a tree. Deputies found Chandler Arnholt, 18, of Seymour, pinned under the vehicle. The driver of the vehicle, a female juvenile, fled the scene and Chandler was transported to an Indianapolis hospital for treatment.
The accident remains under investigation.
