GREENWOOD, Ind. — (Updated at 8:40 a.m. Sunday) Johnson County Sheriff Doug Cox says Nathaniel Kuniej, 24, of Greenwood, was killed in a Friday night crash on Saddle Club Road.
A northbound deputy observed Kuniej traveling southbound and passing another vehicle at a high rate of speed. The deputy turned around to pursue the vehicle but lost sight of it. As the deputy approached County Road 600N, he began to see car parts strewn across the road. As he travelled farther, the deputy found the car broken into four pieces at a tree-lined fence. Keniej was declared dead at the scene. Authorities determined he was not wearing seatbelt.

(Saturday, February 18 at 6:30 a.m.) Johnson County Sheriff Doug Cox says one person has died in an accident Friday night around 8:30 p.m. on Saddle Club Road.
Reports indicate a car left the roadway just north of County Road 600N and struck several trees. One male was declared deceased at the scene. No names have been released.
