SEYMOUR, Ind. — A single-vehicle accident on U.S. 31 in Jackson County took the life of a Seymour man Monday night.
Indiana State Police say Robert Robbins, 27, of Seymour, was northbound on U.S. 31 near Commiskey Pike when he failed to negotiate a curve at the Interstate 65 overpass, left the roadway, and struck a guardrail. The force of the impact ejected Robbins from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Police believe Robbins was not wearing a seatbelt.
