GREENWOOD, Ind. — A Nineveh woman is behind bars after a Johnson County traffic stop Tuesday around 2:30 p.m.
Police stopped a car driven by Deborah Daniel, 41, for driving while suspended on southbound State Road 135, near Fairview Road. During the stop the police canine alerted to the odor of narcotics. Daniel told police she had a small amount of marijuana and a pipe. Police recovered the items and transported her to the Johnson County Jail.
While being processed at the jail, workers found a small bag of methamphetamine in her body. Daniel has been charged with driving while suspended, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.
