COLUMBUS, Ind. — A Columbus resident is accused of threarening employees and customers at a local business Friday night.
Columbus police were called to a gas station/convenience store in the 1600 block of Central Avenue to investigate a disturbance at 8:40 p.m. According to the police report, witnesses told officers that Ian Walker, 32, threatened customers with a chainsaw and at one point started the chainsaw, approached an employee and revved the engine. Police were able to arrest Walker without incident.
Walker has been charged with disorderly conduct and intimidation with a deadly weapon.
