COLUMBUS, Ind. — Columbus Police arrested a local resident after they say she was allegedly seen driving a stolen car on Gladstone Avenue near State Street on Wednesday around 12:20 a.m.
According to police reports, Susan Coomer, 45, was observed driving a van pulling a trailer car that had been reported stolen from the Greensburg area. The report then says Coomer pulled into a gas station, exited the vehicle and entered the store. Police made contact with Coomer in the store and arrested her without incident. The report continued to say that police found a small amount of marijuana in a jacket Coomer was wearing.
Coomer has been charged with auto theft and possession of marijuana.
