COLUMBUS, Ind. – The life of a teenager was likely saved by two doses of Narcan earlier this week.
On Tuesday, Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Sergeant Dean Johnson responded to the Walmart parking lot on Jonathan Moore Pike after a report of a potential overdose. According to Sgt. Johnson, the 17-year-old girl was unconscious and had a pulse, but was not breathing well. He administered the Narcan, and the teenager was then transported to Columbus Regional Health for treatment.
