Police seeking information about hit-and-run

COLUMBUS, Ind. – A 41-year-old man is in stable condition at Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital after being the victim of a hit-and-run accident in Columbus late Monday night. A report from Lt. Matt Harris of the Columbus Police Department says that just before midnight, officers responded to the 200 block of Smith Street where a bystander pointed-out a man who had injuries to his face and leg following the incident. No description was given about the vehicle and anyone with information about the incident is encouraged to call CPD at (812) 376-2600.
