BARTHOLOMEW COUNTY, Ind. – The Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Office is asking parents to be on the lookout for “Xanie Tarts,” a drug that takes the form of the popular Sweet Tarts. Sheriff Matt Myers said it may be a way for local high school students to ingest Xanax, the popular anxiety reducing drug. Law Enforcement is very concerned that someone might overdose if they eat the candy unaware that it has been laced with drugs.
